Internationella Engelska Skolan Upplands Väsby is a bilingual school for students in years F-9.
Our school is a safe and calm environment where teachers can teach and students learn, and we are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
We teach using the Swedish national curriculum and up to half the education in our school is delivered through the English language by qualified teachers from English-speaking countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK.

My name is Anna Kuylenstierna and I have been the principal at IES Upplands Väsby since August 7. I want to warmly welcome you to our school and at the same time take the opportunity to thank you for a nice welcome from students and staff.
The IES ethos has been our cornerstone for 30 years, which means that we at IES Upplands Väsby want to give all our students the conditions to master the English language, have High academic expectations and ambitions for themselves and experience a safe and calm school environment.
Together with staff and students, I look forward to developing and further strengthening our work to provide teaching that is characterised by students participation receiving forward-looking feedback, and ensuring that all students can reach their full potential.
Together, we contribute to an inviting and inclusive everyday school life for our students as well as a cooperative and interactive organisation for all employees.
Our students and we who work at IES Upplands Väsby, represent different parts of the world, languages and cultures. We are curious to learn new things and we are respectful of our differences. Together we create the conditions for lifelong learning, to embrace challenges, to instil hope, grit and cooperation in order to open the world for citizens of the future to be able to live their lives in responsible freedom.
